I heard about Exquisitely Designed through a friend, and once I viewed her online portfolio I was SOLD! The pictures showed her passion and attention to detail for sophisticated & elegant wedding decor, my favorite part is the beautiful layered backdrops she creates.

Even before I got engaged, I found myself going through all the pictures Louise would post on Facebook of the weddings she has done. Every week I would check to see if new wedding pictures had been posted. I was so amazed of the work that she could do and would think to myself..."I can wait to get married, so I can call Louise". Well, as soon as I was proposed to, Louise was one of the first people on my list to call (well, after family). When I met with Louise, all I knew was my colour scheme and the types of flowers I liked. When you sit down with Louise, you can see the ideas going through her mind and you just know right then, that your wedding is going to be beautiful. The amount of energy, creativity and enthusiasm that she puts into her work is what makes her one of the best. Planning a wedding is stressful at times, but having Louise help you along the way, makes the decorating part of it stress-free! Even in the weeks before our wedding, when my guest numbers changed, and threw all of Louise's numbers off, she didn't panic - she just said it will be taken care of - don't worry! And when we walked into the reception hall that evening - it was beyond what I could have ever envisioned. It was so BEAUTIFUL!!! So many of my guests asked who did our flowers and decorating, because it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever seen. I have already recommended Louise to a couple of my friends and I hope that they have the same great experience with Louise that I did. Louise is simply the BEST. My husband and I actually booked with another decorator and we were looking online for some ideas and happened to come across Exquisitely Designed and we were so amazed by her designs and I instantly said I HAD to have her.

She did so much extra for us and put so many little personal touches into our wedding decor. Our venue was sensational and decorated way beyond what I had expected. The morning of our wedding I had my cake topper delivered and I really didn't like it, Lu said not to worry and she decorated our cake beautifully. She also helped me with my dress at our ceremony and it was so nice to have someone with me until the moment I walked to my husband. After our ceremony I had asked a friend to transport our big floral arrangements to our venue because we didn't get our flowers designed by Louise but she surprised us and delivered them to our venue which was so helpful.

She made everything so easy and it was so nice to relax on our wedding day and not have worry about our wedding decor. At first, my family was hesitant about booking with a decorator because they thought we could just decorate ourselves but they were so glad we booked with Exquisitely Designed. The evening before our wedding was so busy with rehearsal and family coming from out of town that we wouldn't have possibly been able to decorate ourselves. We popped by our venue on the way home from rehearsal and Lu and her team wereworking away and it was so exciting to see. The morning after our wedding, we woke up and went down to see if Lu was taking down our decor and Lu had everything already cleaned up and it was great to spend the day with my new husband instead of cleaning.

Louise made our wedding day perfect and completely transformed our venue into a gorgeous fairy tale.

When I hired Louise Cooke to decorate my wedding I could not have imagined how truly stunning it would be. Everything was exactly what I dreamed it would be and more. My outdoor ceremony in the Gazebo was elegant and classy, beautiful fresh flower petals covered the aisle, sparkling crystals and linens swayed in the wind.

My reception hall was beyond belief. She took everything we had discussed and more and turned it into the wedding of my dreams. We were lucky enough to get a sneak peak at the rehearsal as she was setting up the night before and we were all blown away with how beautifully everything came together. Tears were flowing from all us ladies. I could not express the thanks and gratitude I have for Lou. Not only was it a sight to remember but the pictures I have from that day with her talent shinning through the background will last forever. My bouquets were gorgeous and the cake was the definitely the talk of evening. She is a remarkable woman, and definitely on top of her game. Even my new husband couldn't say anything but, "WOW".

My wedding took place on Thanksgiving weekend, October 2010 after over 16 months of planning. It was the most spectacular day of my life, and a big part of that was due to Louise Cooke of Exquisitely Designed. When I first got engaged, I had originally chosen another local decorator, but after several meetings after which I left feeling very uncertain and unsatisfied with their plans for my wedding, I went looking for something else, something with more GRANDEUR - and I found it, with Louise!

After just our first meeting, I left feeling like I was on Cloud 9. All of my visions and dreams were really brought to life. Throughout the planning process, Louise was constantly searching for new ideas that would "wow" me, as I was searching for something really unique!!

When the day finally arrived, Louise did an amazing job. Not only was the hall transformed into one of the most incredible, unique and romantic fairy tales, but she created my bouquets, which were absolutely stunning!

All of my guests were stunned by her work and felt that my wedding had been like something they had never seen - from the specially designed canopy, crystal ceiling and multiple linens of rich colours.

The best part about the entire process was that I knew I could trust Louise entirely with my ideas. I gave her some of my thoughts and she created something FAR beyond my dreams.

I would strongly recommend anyone seeking a talented, unique and outgoing designer to work with Louise. Not only was she very professional, but she became a great friend. I went through some tough months with my mother, who was diagnosed with cancer, and Louise was so understanding through it all. She truly was a pleasure to work with....wish I could do it all over again!!!

We are so grateful to you for all the hard work you did to make our wedding spectacular. The decorations were absolutely beautiful. The tents were so elegant and the decor in the house was just as wonderful. I appreciated your ideas, and I was also pleased that you didn't try to tell me what you thought we should do as much as you listened to all the half-formed ideas I had and used your talent and expertise to fully form them. I trusted you to take what I had envisioned and make it real and that is exactly what you did!

Randy and I were both so pleased with how everything looked. One of our guests commented that it looked like something you would see in a movie. We had so many compliments about how the house and tents looked. All the lights and candles and crystals were magical. The flowers were really lovely. They tied everything together and turned our home into a unique wedding venue.

I would especially like to thank you for all your moral support throughout the entire planning process. I appreciated all your advice and suggestions for things like a baker, a wonderful dress designer, an equally wonderful graphic designer for the invitations, etc. There were a number of times when I was really stressed about something and I would email you to say I was ready to call the whole thing off, and each time you were able to reassure me that it is normal for a bride to be stressed and that things would work out (and you were right). I can't tell you how much that helped. What I appreciated most was that although you were incredibly busy with all the events that were going on in the months before mine you always made me feel like my wedding was the most important thing. A bride couldn't ask for more.

Your energy and enthusiasm were definitely appreciated in the days before the wedding. It was so much fun having you at the house to set everything up. It helped me to know that you were here. I am still amazed at how everything just worked out perfectly. Randy and I are so glad to have found you, you really helped to make our wedding a special, beautiful, wonderful event.

I am so grateful to have had my brother recommend Louise Cooke.

My brother David, having worked at Sawmill Golf and Country Club, had witnessed Louise’s work first hand on many occasions and when it came time for me to look for a decorator; he enthusiastically suggested I talk with her.
Within minutes of meeting and talking with Louise, there was no question in my mind that she had to be the decorator for our wedding. Louise is amazing! Both Matt and I sit back regularly and think “WOW! That was our wedding!” It’s hard to believe that a couple months have already flown by since our wedding on June 12th, 2010.

I have always pictured my wedding to be classy, elegant and romantic. I never knew how to describe what that meant in terms of wedding decorations. Right from the first meeting together, you made me feel comfortable. You listened to what I had in mind and showed me what I was thinking in fabrics, colours and lighting. Somehow you were able to take my words and pictures in my mind and transform them into reality.

Louise, you took the Wedding Arbor at Germain Park and made into a stunning venue. The way the hall was decorated, it looked like it was taken right from a wedding magazine. Every detail was exact and perfect. I loved your ideas and appreciated every suggestion.

We had many compliments on our wedding. Many of our guests told us that it was the most gorgeous wedding they’ve been to; it was stunning; and perfectly elegant.

You went way beyond your job in helping us. We had a little uncomfortable situation with our reception. You came in and made us feel at ease. We are truly grateful for that.

We had been thinking and planning our wedding for a long time. We had family and friends travel a long way to celebrate with us. No matter what, our goal was to provide our guest with a wonderful evening filled with fun. Without a doubt, the ambiance of wedding set the tone for the rest of the night – classy fun!

I truly believe one way to combat the wedding stress is to make sure you have the right people helping you plan your wedding. Whenever my husband and I (or even with my family and friends) sit back and reminisce, a smile forms. Len and I want to thank you for doing such an amazing job decorating our anniversary tent! It was absolutely stunning. You took a plan white tent and transformed it into a luxurious outdoor ball room. The black and white fabric mixed together with the long crystal beaded panels were breathe taking. Lu you added so many of just the right touches and we appreciated you for having that eye for detail. From the crystal chandelier, gorgeous center pieces and even suggesting the rhinestone detail on the back of our black chair covers. Everything was just right.So many of our guest commented on how this was the most elegant anniversary party they had ever been too!

We also want to thank you for recommending our band Innuendo. Wow they really knew how to entertain and keep our guest on the dance floor. I would suggest them to other people. Maybe dancing under the stars next year!

Louise from Exquisitely Designed listened to everything I had to say, that includes all my crazy ideas! She painted a beautiful picture of what she had in mind so I could visualize my decorations before the wedding day! I was also able to see a lot of her displays because she has a lot of them set up in her front room studio of her home. She had everything I wanted and even went beyond for me, like I said I had a lot of crazy ideas one of which I wanted to personalize my dance floor, so I cut the names and pictures out and Louise did the task of putting it down for me, which turned out beautifully!

She worked with me months suggesting things and giving me advice, not to mention saving me from a horrible floral experience!!!! I came two her two days before the wedding HATING my bouquets, she told me to bring them out to her and everything will be ok…so that’s what I did I took them and was upset cause they were awful but after about three hours she called me and I went out to take a look at the ones she did have done and they were more than words can say!! They were AMAZING!

The nice thing about Louise is she is a perfectionist, just like me, so in hiring her I got what I expected and more, I knew everything would be perfect because she wouldn’t be happy unless it was perfect! She even took pictures of the décor for me so I could see them later because a lot of it you miss, so that was great.

The ceremony and reception décor was absolutely beautiful it took a lot of my guests and my self’s breath away and gave my mom goose bumps. She did such a wonderful job and took a lot of stress off me! She is very well priced and a great friendly person to work with. I am going to miss seeing her.

The short of this huge long story is if you want perfection and absolute beauty on your wedding day you can NOT go wrong with Louise from Exquisitely Designed, she will go above and beyond to make your day more beautiful than you could have ever imagined it possible!

Beautiful, stunning, breath-taking are just some of the words I can use for the flowers and decor Louise and her assistants pulled together for us. I am known as a very picky, organized, detail oriented person. Let's face it I am some people's worst nightmares. I know what I want and how I want it done (a very big fear of each of my bridesmaids I might add) and than Louise came along.

I have never felt so comfortable trusting someone with my visions of my dream wedding. Louise impressed me from the very moment I met her, she was organized, well priced, efficient, detail oriented, and most importantly a great listener. Louise had my fiance and I looking at pictures of flowers for bouquets and boutonnieres and I had mentioned a certain flower my Mom loved, but I wasn't sure about.

Well didn't Louise mention the flower in our estimate and managed to work it into my bouquet, my Mom's corsage and the kissing ball for my flower girl! It absolutely floored me that someone would be able to take my vision of perfection and work it so everyone was happy.

I have never been so impressed with someone else's work as I was with Louise. I take great pride in my abilities to host terrific dinners, and organize events, so it meant so much to me when staff member's of our reception hall complimented the decor, and some very hard to please people came to me with compliments about how beautiful everything was.

A million thank you’s cannot even begin to express how much your hard work was appreciated. We had been planning for 2 years and you were there for us right from the beginning. We found so much more in you than just a decorator and florist. You were a wedding planner that helped us out above and beyond what we ever expected of you and you did so more than willingly.
Words cannot describe how stunning our wedding reception was. The Dante Club was transformed into an elegant wedding reception with a fun and funky feel to it which is exactly what we wanted. From the beginning we knew that we wanted it to “WOW” our guests which is exactly what you did.

I did not have any wedding stress over the flowers and decorations because I knew that everything would be perfect and I felt confident in you to just let you do your own thing which was so nice to have that type of relationship.

Everything was beyond beautiful and the guests were and still are in awe over the amazing decorations and flowers. We received and still are receiving so many comments from people saying how beautiful and unique everything was. You definitely listened to everything we asked for and got to know us both personally which really reflected on the entire feel of the wedding.

Randy and I were both so pleased with how everything looked. One of our guests commented that it looked like something you would see in a movie. We had so many compliments about how the house and tents looked. All the lights and candles and crystals were magical. The flowers were really lovely. They tied everything together and turned our home into a unique wedding venue.

I would especially like to thank you for all your moral support throughout the entire planning process. I appreciated all your advice and suggestions for things like a baker, a wonderful dress designer, an equally wonderful graphic designer for the invitations, etc. There were a number of times when I was really stressed about something and I would email you to say I was ready to call the whole thing off, and each time you were able to reassure me that it is normal for a bride to be stressed and that things would work out (and you were right). I can't tell you how much that helped. What I appreciated most was that although you were incredibly busy with all the events that were going on in the months before mine you always made me feel like my wedding was the most important thing. A bride couldn't ask for more.

Your energy and enthusiasm were definitely appreciated in the days before the wedding. It was so much fun having you at the house to set everything up. It helped me to know that you were here. I am still amazed at how everything just worked out perfectly. Randy and I are so glad to have found you, you really helped to make our wedding a special, beautiful, wonderful event.
